We get to continue working on our Deadlift strength in today's classes. The Deadlift is a fantastic lift for creating safe and efficient movement patterns for picking items up off the ground. Not only will you learn the correct way to utilize your posterior chain and save your back, but you will also build stabilizer muscles that will help prevent injury in your everyday life. This way, you'll be less likely to injure yourself walking across an icy parking lot, for example.
Brittney, Ryan, and I love watching you all make gains in the gym. However, our primary mission is keeping you healthy and injury-free, so we'd rather see lighter weights with good form. That will promote the correct movement patterns that will keep you less likely to get hurt.
