Just like Wednesday for the Overhead Squat cycle, today is Day 1 of the Deadlift cycle! This is a lift that has the ability to demonstrate an incredible amount of pure brute strength. Unfortunately, it's also a lift that has the ability to cause significant injuries. This is why you will hear Brittney and I yelling about form so much today.
With good form, you will lift mass amounts of weight, tone and strengthen your glutes and hamstrings, and look like a total Randy Savage (Macho Man). Avoiding the overuse of your lower back is our main focus in building you up rather than injuring you. This is, however, ultimately up to you to make it happen.
Pay attention to your body and listen to the cues you get from your coaches. You'll be great!
