"Death by" Pull-Ups!
If you have never completed a "Death by" workout, you're in for a fun surprise today! If you have done it before, you know exactly what is waiting for you. Lucky you!
In a "Death by" workout, your rep scheme increases by one rep each minute. You have the entire first minute to complete 1 rep. In the second minute, you have 2 reps to complete. In the third minute, you have 3 reps to complete... and so on.
The workout is over when you fail to complete the number of reps that correspond with the current minute. It is called "Death by" because it feels like this one movement is going to be the end of you by the time you fail to finish your last round.
Sometimes it destroys you with cardiovascular and respiratory fatigue. Sometimes it destroys you with muscular fatigue. Either way, it is guaranteed to work you over pretty completely. Enjoy!
