Squat - Always Squat!
Dane's squat position (demonstrated above) is beautiful! His feet are shoulder width apart, toes are forward and slightly out, knees are driving out in the direction of his toes, back is flat, chest is up, weight is in his heels, eyes are on the horizon, and his hip crease is below his knees.
This is exactly where we want to see you during the bottom of your squats for any squat you are doing ever. As I said in reference to Tuesday's Press/Push Press cycle, I'd rather see you drop your weights down and do this correctly than see you hurt yourself to get a big weight. We've all made that mistake - I did it a month ago on the 20 rep Back Squat cycle.
Take the form corrections seriously please. Our aim is to keep you mobile and independent as long as you inhabit this body. More than weights, scores, numbers or any other measure we usually reference; your health is the most important result. Let's create long-term increased quality of life, and I'll be a happy man.
Love you bye!
