We are going to work on our balance and comfort in the bottom positions of our Clean and Jerk today. This means that you will catch your Clean in a squat and pause for 3 seconds. Then, after you've completed the appropriate steps in between, you'll catch your Jerk in a split and hold it for another 3 seconds.
This is going to decrease your weights a little, but it will increase your confidence under the bar. It will show you that, if you can catch the bar and balance it, you'll be strong enough to stand it up.
